
OK, so I historically have really loved smoothies, but in recent years I have had trouble trying to make one that doesn’t taste like nothing. It seems like even if you use good frozen berries and milk or even if you use a bit of fruit juice it just tastes kind of bland and sad. Recently, I have started adding canned pineapple (with some of the juice) and it feels like a game changer!! It sort of turns every smoothie into a cousin of a pina colada, which is magical. My recent go to “recipe” is canned pineapple, frozen banana and mango, milk and plain Greek yogurt. It’s delicious!
