Shrill

This is possibly my favorite show ever and definitely the show I needed as a fat teenager (and adult honestly). It’s hilarious and filled with lots of amazing actors (Patti Harrison, Jo Firestone, E.R. Fightmaster, and more!!). It’s fat joy in a TV show. It also highlights what it’s like to live in a fatphobic world in a bigger body without being didactic. If you haven’t already seen this show it’s time to correct that! You will definitely fall in love with Aidy Bryant (an absolute babe and icon) and possibly heal your inner child.
